Our Client in Keperra wanted to modernise their older style bathroom. We ascertained their needs and worked with their drawings to bring a refreshing, value adding and space saving finished product. By moving the position of the vanity and bath and replacing wall sheeting with featured tiles and a large mirror the space was expanded. The toilet was kept seperate and flooring re-tiled to tie in with the bathroom. As you can see from their photos, our clients were impressed with the result!

Ensuite and Walk in Robe

We provided a solution to an unused spare room by adding an Ensuite and walk in robe for our Client in Zillmere. The project was completed in 2 weeks and included coordination of building, water-proofing, electrical and tiling contractors.

Bathroom Space Saving Ideas

Bathroom layout is key to maximising space. Here are some ideas to assist in planning your bathroom:

Key Measurements; allow 1500mm from back of toilet to opposite wall and 450mm on either side from centre of toilet; 700mm from front of vanity to nearest object; at least 900mm x 900mm for shower with a standard bath being 1525 (l) x 720mm (w) x 400 (d)
Recess storage boxes into wall of shower / bath & tile with a feature to neatly store bathing items & add impact
Mirrors bring depth and light into a room – over sized mirrors add height and length to a room
Vanity cabinets with storage behind a mirror (recessed in wall if wall cavity allows) or full length storage cupboards set off to the side of a wall mounted basin create an illusion of floor space & allow easy access to storage area
Powerpoints in cupboards create allocated space for appliances & reduce benchtop clutter
Wasted space; place shelving over the toilet / use towel hooks in addition to rails
Toilets that are wall hung or closed couple create clean floor space and modern lines

Bathroom Renovation – The Gap

Our client was seeking a modern open, light and spacious bathroom in replacement of a 1970′s style pokey restrictive and crowded bathroom. The solution was to remove the wall between the bathroom and seperate toilet to create a functional working space. By removing all old fixtures and plumbing in new water and wastes, bedding in a new shower base and installing new modern fixtures and fittings such as slim line tapware, rounded edge bath and closed couple wall mounted toilet suite the result is modern opulence. Keperra Bathroom Renovation

This bathroom is a great example of how clean lines and modern fixtures can create the feeling of space in a confined space. Floor to ceiling 600 x 300mm white tiles were used on the walls to draw the eye upward while a high sided bath provides a feeling of depth in the space. The toilet is tucked neatly into the corner with a 900mm vanity and wall insert boxes providing the storage space this family of 4 needed. Click images to enlarge.

This quaint Ashgrove house received a value adding new look by replacing dated decor with modern tiles and fixtures. Also by moving fixtures around it created a feeling of space and light to a previously pokey bathroom.

The Gap Bathroom Renovation

Bathorom renovations are a great way to add value as well as refresh a well used space. This renovation at The Gap entailed removing all old fixtures and capping off, removing tiles for the tiler and re-sheeting, running new water and then reinstalling fixtures.

With the Bath to the left, Floating Vanity in the centre and semi-framless Shower cubicle to right it is an effective use of space with a modern finish. Using the same tile for the floor and walls also creates an illusion of space with a feature tile used on the floor and wall to provide definition.

This luxurious bathroom fit-out turned an empty room into a serene retreat. The stages included pipe work rough-in, sheeting, waterproofing, tiling and fixture fit-off.

The service we provided included liasing with council for approval as well as managing the tiling, waterproofing and electrical sub-contractors making it seamless for the owner.

With 3 shower heads (9lt/min restricted), 2 heated towel racks, high-end tapware and closed couple toilet suite this bathroom is a true way to recover from a hectic day. Click on images to enlarge.
